Aromas Hils Artisans seek to celebrate and inspire the creation of art by providing support, education, and enrichment for our members and for the community.
The Art Careers Academy at Monterey High School is a California Partnership Academy, a school- within-a-school, for students interested in the Visual and/or Performing Arts.
Classes are for 5 to 105 years old.
The criteria is a will to learn.
45.00 per hour and half
3 class minimum paid in advance

Hi I am a local artist. I have been painting and teaching for over 30 years. I teach kids, adults or groups. My main medium is watercolor but I also work In Acrylic and drawing materials. My classes are $25. Per hr. $45. For 2hr. Times are flexible and buy 4 get the 5 class free.
Arte Antigua is a brick-and-mortar gallery offering fine pre-Colombian art and artifacts of the ancient Americas. Located in historic Oldtown Salinas, California Arte Antigua is only one short block from the National Steinbeck Center in the heart of the burgeoning arts district.
While Arte Antigua specializes in high quality ancient art from the shaft tomb cultures of west Mexico (Nayarit, Colima, Michoacan and Jalisco) we also have pieces from many other Mexican cultures and from other areas of Meso-America and Latin America including Ecuador, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica and Colombia.
Gallery hours: noon-9 p.m. Fri-Sun, 5-9 p.m. Thursday.
Artisana Gallery was born with a mission: to promote the work of local artisans, to support living California artists working in a variety of mediums and modalities, and offer customers affordable prices for one-of-a-kind treasures. Now, that little venture has grown and Artisana customers have impacted the lives of over 35 local artisans and their families! The gallery's focus is on original artworks with a global, artisan feel. There is a charm and warmth present that sets visitors at ease...and ultimately touches their souls.
We are dedicated to bringing people from all cultures together through education, facilitation, and promotion of all disciplines of the arts in Monterey County, furthering intercultural understanding in our community, cultivating cultural tourism in Salinas, and the economic advancement of local artists and youth in the underserved population.
