Tax Deductible IRA
Are you 70 1/2 or older and have an IRA? Did you know you may be able to make a gift directly from your IRA to the Arts Council for Monterey County (a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit) through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)? Your gift may count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and may be excluded from your taxable income. Ask your financial advisor or tax professional whether a QCD is right for you.
