Arts4MC is honored to be a part of the Monterey County Gives! campaign—a partnership that goes beyond funding, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening our community through the arts. This annual campaign typically runs from mid-November through the end of December, and we hope to have the opportunity to participate again this year.
Thanks to the generous contributions we receive through MC Gives!, our Arts4Healing program continues to make a profound impact. By harnessing the transformative power of art, this program provides vital emotional and mental support, offering a safe and creative outlet for individuals to process emotions, reduce stress, and build resilience through the healing benefits of the arts.
Amplify Your Impact
When you donate to Arts4MC through MC Gives!, your gift enhances the quality of life in Monterey County and can be matched to maximize the impact of your generosity.
Arts4Healing: The Big Idea
Our Arts4Healing program harnesses creative expression as a powerful tool for healing, comfort, and emotional well-being. Led by teaching artists trained through the UCLArts & Healing Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) program, Arts4Healing brings customized sessions to diverse communities, including:
- Al & Friends
- CHISPA Senior Housing
- Gathering for Women
- Rancho Cielo Youth Campus
- Set Free Monterey Bay
- Sun Street Centers
- Veterans Transition Center
By reaching those who face trauma, stress, or emotional challenges, this program provides a pathway for self-expression, resilience, and growth.
The Arts4Healing program is such a wonderful addition to our services. Several of our guests said they enjoyed being able to take their mind away from their worries and creating good memories. We truly appreciate our partnership.
