The Forest Theater is an historic amphitheater in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Founded in 1910, it is one of the oldest outdoor theaters west of the Rockies. Actor/director Herbert Heron is generally cited as the founder and driving force, and poet/novelist Mary Austin is often credited with suggesting the idea.
The mission of the Soledad-Mission Recreation District is to enrich our community through the provision of programs and facilities that enhance positive, wholesome, and healthy recreation.

Sonia Chapa is a collage artist who utilizes a variety of recyclable materials with students to create name flags, vision boards, mosaics, and jewelry. Sonia also imparts the intention and techniques of famous artists in their mediums and covers the basics relating to line, shape, form, texture and color. Repurposing materials encourages student creativity and inspires innovation.
The YMCA believes in nurturing the potential of every child through youth development, promoting healthy living, and inspiring social responsibility through healthy living activities.
Our mission is to encourage, develop, maintain, preserve, and fund a performing arts facility in Southern Monterey County, specifically the Robert Stanton Theater at King City High School, and to make the facility accessible to all organizations who want to utilize one of the finest theatrical venues in the Central Coast region.

Internationally acclaimed figurative sculptor Steven Whyte invites you to witness the creative process in action. The British sculptor's American studios serves as the artist's gallery and working studio. (and Carmel’s famous dog Lord Wellington)
A native Californian, Steve’s love of the outdoors, science and history inspired him to begin capturing the awesome beauty of the natural world and interpreting it for others to enjoy. Today, he continues to find inspiration in wild corners of the world.
Steve is a fine art photographer, commercial advertising photographer and graphic designer. Steve’s photographs capture an ideal of the West, pristine and untouched by encroaching development. From a lone surfer on a desolate beach to a sunrise breaking through oak trees, his pictures invite viewers to revel in the moment and make it their own. His photography celebrates the culture, history, and lifestyle of California and the West, and illustrates his deep spiritual connection to the natural world and our place in it.
