We are a group of volunteers who love cowboy poetry, western music, cowboy movies and western art and gear. We formed a non-profit corporation 501(c)(3) in order to bring the best western entertainment and art to Monterey County and especially the historical City of Monterey. Our charitable partner is the Salvation Army. They have been living the cowboy way for some time.
Monterey GlassWorks is a working production glass studio staffed by glass artists. We are located one block off the beach in the West End Arts District area of the Monterey Peninsula.
Our facility includes both a hot shop for glassblowing, a warm shop for casting and kiln forming, and a cold shop for glass carving, etching, and engraving, which, when not used for production, are available for instruction, artist rental, and residencies for global visiting artists. We also host private glass art events for parties up to 35.

MHAA possesses extensive collections of furnishings, paintings, photographs, costumes, books, manscripts, and other artifcats, and is the parent organization of the Museum of Monterey (MoM) which features History, Arts, Innovation, and Maritime. MHAA owns and preserves Casa Serrano Adobe, Mayo Hayes O'Donnell Library, and the Frances Doud House and garden.
As in past years, this outstanding film festival screens diverse international documentary films designed to wake up, educate and mobilize viewers around critical global issues. A volunteer Film Festival committee spends over six months searching key documentary film sites for excellent and recent issue-oriented documentary films, in order to select the nine films which will be screened in this year’s festival.

Contemporary galleries complement the old-world elegance and lavish rose gardens of this gorgeous, historic estate. Located in one of Monterey’s oldest neighborhoods, La Mirada began as a modest stone adobe in the Mexican period. It was later remodeled to become an elegant home where the great stars of silent film were entertained. In 1994, the gallery wing was added to accommodate outstanding exhibitions that change several times a year. MMA La Mirada is a perfect venue for weddings, meetings and special events.
Our mission is to foster, manage, and support live productions of diverse forms of the performing arts at the Golden State Theatre in Monterey with particular attention to operatic arias presented in concert form.
"By artists, for artists." The Monterey Peninsula Art Foundation (MPAF) was founded to bring artists together for fellowship, the exchange of ideas, and to further art education of artists and the public. The MPAF gallery is open every day from 11am to 5pm (except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's day.) 425 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA. Operated as a co-op, each represented artist is on duty at the gallery one day per month and is available for any questions, etc. This way, we can also keep prices very affordable.
