The Aromas Hills Artisans is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and celebrating artistic expression by providing support, education, and enrichment to its members and the broader community. Each year, AHA hosts a variety of events, including the Spring Country Garden Tour, the Holiday Arts Festival in the fall, hands-on workshops, and a community mural program. AHA also supports arts education in local schools by partnering with the Arts Council for Monterey County to provide arts enrichment opportunities. The Ship's Store is a new retail store located in Moss Landing. The Ship's Store features local artists who are inspired by Monterey Bay’s breathtaking landscapes and rich biodiversity. Artists featured in The Ship’s Store use their art to promote conservation efforts of Monterey Bay’s diverse wildlife and precious marine ecosystems. This nature inspired art is displayed alongside a wide selection of gifts, free-diving and spearfishing equipment, and boating and fishing supplies. It is run by Monterey Bay Eco Tours, who operates the first Coast Guard certified fully electric catamaran on the West Coast, providing daily tours of Elkhorn Slough.
