Featured artist Lilli-Anne Price will be painting live and exhibiting over a dozen works available for sale. Lilli-Anne is an award-winning artist who has lived on the Monterey Peninsula for 30 years. Her artistic journey with painting started 16 years ago, inspired by her own horses in the landscapes of ever changing light in their pastures that surround her home in The Steinbeck Hills. She studied Still Life painting with Mark Farina, Figure drawing with John Mc Williams and plein air painting with Gerard Martin, Mark Farina and John Mc Williams.
Lilli-Anne uses an array of palette knives with a unique palette of textured colors, raw shapes and forms to bring her vibrant paintings to life. “It is a physical experience…paint flies! You have to know your subject or you had to be there in order to have the gesture, personality, spark, drama or feel in a painting!” She shows her work in her own studio/gallery @ Lilli-anne on Ocean Ave in Carmel. She is also a Signature member of the Monterey Bay Peninsula Plein Air Association and a Signature member of Carmel Valley Art Association.
