The art will be on display from December 2023-2024 at the Government Center Administration Building at 168 W Alisal, Salinas. Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Exhibition
Benjamin Anderson, is a fine artist and teacher who has made the Monterey Peninsula his home. Anderson captures the dynamic scenery of the California landscape and has become known for his life-based oil paintings in romantic style. Anderson has been awarded solo shows, juried awards, artists residencies and an Artist Grant. He travels to his childhood home in Vermont for artist retreats and to paint the great forests and winter landscapes. His artwork is in numerous private collections throughout the United States. In addition to his artistic endeavors, Anderson teaches at college level, and values higher education in the arts. He taught at Bowling Green State University, Tennessee Gov’t School for the Arts, and has been juried into the Carmel Art Association in Carmel California, 2021.
