SpectorDance’s Choreographers’ Showcase: Dance That Makes A Difference

SpectorDance’s Choreographers Showcase is our annual celebration of the diversity and vitality of dance today!
Since 1997, SpectorDance’s Choreographers’ Showcase has offered central coast audiences the chance to experience a variety of original, cutting-edge dance works. To date, we have presented over 450 dancemakers, both live and virtually, from around the state, nation, and globe.
Artistic Director and Founder of SpectorDance, Fran Spector Atkins, says, “We are proud to announce the newest iteration of this exciting event- SpectorDance’s Choreographers’ Showcase – Dance That Makes a Difference! Our showcase brings performances to the community that focuses on the power of dance to inform, promote dialogue, and be a galvanizing vehicle for change.”
We are thrilled to present today’s event at the historic and inspiring Outdoor Forest Theater in Carmel-by-the Sea. SpectorDance looks forward to building this new partnership with the Forest Theater to create an annual festival of new dance!
