The Carmel Sunset Rotary’s The Pointe of Art fundraiser is an exquisite and captivating event that brings together art enthusiasts and philanthropists for a night of creativity and support.

Held Thursday evening from 5pm – 8pm on October 26th, 2023 in the beautiful foyer of The Carmel Sunset Cultural Center, this fundraiser showcases a diverse range of artworks from 25 professional artists with local galleries or studios. The event features stunning paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media pieces – all available for purchase through silent auction.

All proceeds support the young dancers of the Monterey Peninsula Ballet Theater – “where talents and life skills may grow in an inspiring and nurturing environment”. The Pointe of Art is open to the public and admission is free. We encourage parents of the dancers to attend, where you can purchase a hard-copy book featuring the dancers, their artists, and the works created, and get it signed by the artist that night. We also encourage supporters of the MPBT to attend and bring your art-buying patrons with you! We will also have a raffle to win a fabulous gift basket, so everyone has a chance to contribute at some level.

There will be live musical performances, ballet performances by members of the Monterey Peninsula Ballet Theater, and engaging art demonstrations taking place throughout the evening. Guests will be treated to a delightful assortment of gourmet food and fine wines, creating a social atmosphere where artists, dancers, and the public can meet each other.
