Going with the Flow: Meditation and Wet-on-Wet Watercolor Painting.

Not only will you be making works of beauty, regardless of skill level, but you will also be practicing letting go. This style of painting by applying watercolors on wet paper teaches the artist to go with the flow and to be part of a process of a painting emerging intuitively. Besides the painting practice, there will be meditation time of coming to an empty mind. Materials provided.
As a Waldorf teacher, Janaka Stagnaro taught this painting method to children and adults for over 25 years. His studio is in downtown Carmel. Basic student supplies of 9×12 paper, brushes, and paint will be supplied, along with watercolor crayons and pencils. If higher quality supplies are desired please bring them (the paper cannot be larger than 9×12).
