Artist Statement: “Capturing special moments in incredible places from unique perspectives” Since a recent life changing retirement, I have upgraded my photography gear and become as passionate for photography as I am with surfing. I enjoy capturing the many moods of the ocean from diverse perspectives, especially swimming with my camera on big swell days. I hope to convey the power and beauty of the ocean through empty wave images… every wave is different. I am fascinated with unique landscapes, extreme weather, clear water, and huge surf. I am blessed to live in this “greatest meeting of land and sea,” which certainly helps as an aspiring photographer!
