People ask me what I take pictures of, and I find this a difficult question…… what I do is a process that involves my whole self. I usually start with something that has moved me at a point in time, or is important to me. Then, a driven and intuitive process unfolds to create a body of work. This particular body of work was created while sleeping with the window open in extremely cold weather. Water and ice from human breath, growing, expanding, melting and re-freezing. Some days or weeks old, or even seconds and then gone as quick as a breath. Constantly evolving and constantly changing. Water, an element were are made of.
