DESCRIPTION:Creative Research Lab is an 8-week studio residency for teens ages 13–19 at Play Full Ground’s Dream Lab in Monterey. \nThrough guided inquiry\, creative experimentation\, group critique\, and one-on-one mentorship\, participants develop an original project rooted in their own interests\, questions\, and artistic practices. From Bernstein’s exhilarating On the Town and Duke Ellington’s iconic jazz to unforgettable movie themes from The Avengers\, Spider-Man\, Saturday Night Fever\, and When Harry Met Sally. This musical journey captures the many sounds of one of the world’s greatest cities. \nWe’re especially excited to welcome Grammy Award-winning pianist\, composer\, arranger\, and musical director Tammy L. Hall\, whose remarkable career has made her one of the Bay Area’s defining musical voices.
