SUMMARY:Youth Orchestra Salinas (YOSAL) Presents a FREE Winter Concert
DESCRIPTION:YOSAL presents a free winter concert Friday\, December 12 at 7 PM at Sherwood Hall in Salinas. Under the direction of Music Director Jeff De Seriere and Program Director Diana Ramirez-Rosales\, this concert will showcase the incredible achievement of over 200 YOSAL students. \nFeaturing students in grades 1-12\, YOSAL offers choir\, basic instrument instruction\, beginning and intermediate orchestra\, and mariachi banda. All groups will be featured during this special evening. \nHighlights will include selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite and No Me Se Rajar by José Carmen Frayle Castañon\, featuring YOSAL’s mariachi banda. \nNow celebrating its 15th year\, YOSAL is committed to social change in our youth and communities through the inspiration\, discipline\, and performance of classical and ensemble music. \nAbout the YOSAL: YOSAL serves students from 39 area schools\, five days a week at Vineyard Church on East Alisal.
