Hailed by The Strad as “one of America’s finest young chamber groups\,” the ensemble is celebrated for its virtuosic performances\, expressive artistry\, and exceptional musical chemistry. Winners of the prestigious Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award and the only piano trio ever to win the Young Concert Artists International Auditions\, the Claremont Trio continues to captivate audiences around the world. \nThe program features Beethoven’s elegant Piano Trio in E-flat Major\, Op. 70\, No. 2\, Rebecca Clarke’s richly expressive Piano Trio\, and Paul Schoenfield’s energetic and jazz-inspired Café Music. The evening concludes with Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel’s Piano Trio in D Minor\, Op. 11\, a Romantic masterpiece celebrated for its lyricism and emotional depth. \nJoin us for an inspiring evening as the Claremont Trio brings its remarkable artistry to Chamber Music Monterey Bay’s 60th Anniversary Season.
