ELIGIBILITY

Q: Can I apply this spring of 2019 if I already received funding from the fall of 2018?

A: No, unfortunately you will not be eligible.

MAXIMUM AMOUNT

Q: Up to what amount can I apply?

A: You can apply up to $ 5,000.00.

APPLICATION

Q: Under Narrative: (total up to 3500 Characters including space). Is it for each paragraph or all paragraphs together?

A: 3500 Characters including spaces is for the total of all paragraphs (not each).

Q: Do I need to submit Project Budget and Budget Narrative?

A: Budget Narrative ~ The Project Budget is required; The Budget Narrative should include any details that you prefer to have the opportunity to explain such as:

INCOME – (e.g, special campaigns, prestigious grants; special efforts to increase program revenue)

EXPENSES – (e.g, reason for any unusually high or low expenses)

Q: Do you accept a notification form of submitted 501(c) 3 request instead of 501 (c) 3 letter?
A: No.

Q: Do I need to send the whole most recent IRS 990 form, or just the cover page of 990 form is sufficient?

A:  The cover page is sufficient.

Q: Could you specify “Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statement from most recently completed fiscal year?”

A: If your fiscal year is from January to December, your Balance Sheet should read “as of December 31st”, your Profit and Loss should read “January 1 through December 31.” If your fiscal year is from July to June, your Balance Sheet should read “as of June 30th”, your Profit and Loss should read “July 1 to June 30.”

Q: Could you specify “current organization budget?”

A: If your fiscal year is from January to December, your current organization budget should read “January 1 through December. 31” If your fiscal year is from July to June, your organization budget should read “July 1 to June 30.”
