Arts Grants Guidelines

The Arts Council is honored to provide support to nonprofit arts programs through grant funding to presenters, cultural groups and professional artists — thanks to funding by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors through the Economic Development Department. The Arts Council grant funds are awarded on a competitive review basis each year based on overall impact and level of service to Monterey County families.

Our next deadline is beginning of October. The grant application will be available beginning of September.  Email Klara at klara@arts4mc.org
for the grant application or to be added to the mailing list.

Funding categories are: Cultural Tourism, Arts Education, Programs for Rural Communities and Small Business Support.

If you want to pursue grant funds of any sort, you must have either your own 501(c)3 status officially granted by the IRS or a fiscal sponsor. Learn more here: Fractured Atlas
