Our Mission: The mission of the Arts Council for Monterey County is to  improve the quality of life for everyone in our region through the arts. We are proud to partner with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation to help small and emerging nonprofit groups and organizations that are making our region the most vibrant place in the world to live, work and visit.

Eligibility: All groups based in and serving residents of East Salinas. Grant request must be for art programs or projects. Deadline: Submit anytime; Reviewed monthly.

Review Process: The Arts Council Programs Team reviews all applications. The highest scoring grant applications will be complete and accurate, attaching only the required documents.

They will also substantially demonstrate the following:

  • The overall strength of the organization, including the evidence of communitysupport and leadership.
  • Quality of the program or project, scope of service and potential impact forMonterey County residents.
  • Evidence of Unique contribution(s) to the region.
