The Friends of Sunset Foundation was established in 1984 to support the mission and goals of the Sunset Community and Cultural Center in Carmel-by-the-Sea. The Foundation team operates the Sunset Center concession services, The Sunset Cafe, to raise funds to support and enhance the cultural activities and facilities of Sunset Center.
Our mission is to serve as a multi-purpose gathering place that enriches, educates, inspires, and entertains Monterey County residents and visitors by presenting performances, visual arts, and education programs, and by hosting public, private, and community events.
