Our Mission: The mission of the Arts Council for Monterey County is to improve the quality of life for everyone in our region through the arts. We are proud to partner with the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation to help small and emerging nonprofit groups and organizations making our region the most vibrant place in the world to live, work and visit.
Eligibility: All groups 1) whose budgets and assets are each less than $100,000 AND 2) that are applying for programs that serve Monterey County residents through the art. Deadline: Submit anytime; Reviewed monthly.
Review Process: The Arts Council Programs Team reviews all applications. The highest scoring grant applications will be complete and accurate, attaching only the required document
They will also substantially demonstrate:
- The overall strength of the organization, including the evidence of communitysupport and leadership.
- Quality of the program or project, scope of service and potential impact forMonterey County residents.
- Evidence of Unique contribution(s) to the region.
