RICHARD MACDONALD – Lifetime Achievement
Richard MacDonald is considered by many to be the world’s preeminent living figurative sculptor. A leading advocate of the neo-figurative movement in the arts, MacDonald’s work has been featured in hundreds of solo and group exhibitions and is represented in important collections worldwide.
MARV ANDERSON – Luminary
Fine Art painter that features the backroads of Monterey County – North and South teacher, mentor and philanthropist. Marv helped found the Salinas Valley Art Guild, hosted an art gallery in Moss Landing for several years to help promote fellow artists and make space available for professional instruction. Marv frequently donates his work to help expand education and opportunities for youth.
SONIA ARAMBURO – Educator
Principal Mary Chapa Elementary School, Greenfield, drove API scores up 200 points as a Turnaround Arts School by substantially adding arts programs and arts-integrated learning.
ADELA CASTILLO AND JOSE ALEJANDRO MORAN – Volunteer Leaders
Founders and directors of Noche Bohemia, attracting over 1,000 Spanish speakers and Spanish learners from around the county for an extraordinary cultural event featuring Spanish poets, dancers and musicians from Monterey County, California, Mexico and beyond with no admission charge thanks to their leadership and their sponsors.

Fine art photographer and painter who is also a leader — Seaside Artists Association, organizer of the Seaside Artists tour, exhibit supervisor at the Monterey County Fair, teaching artist and donor of artwork to the Village Project, City of Seaside, NAACP and many others

One of the most treasured arts performance centers, led by Peter Meckel for 50 years! The Institute showcases international stars and nurtures young talent, bringing them together through the Master Class programs in music, theater and dance.
LEE ROSEN – Philanthropist
Board President of the Monterey County Symphony and passionate advocate for expanding access for all children in Monterey County as the symphony celebrates is 70th!! Year….He has made it possible for thousands of students from Salinas and the Monterey area to experience the very best performances through support of special programs, free admission and free transportation.
